help my identify this part "pics inside"

well , i've been trying to figure out why my car is running rich , and after endless sensor swaps and checking all things that can make my engine run rich , i decided to re-do my intake manifold gaskets , and today whan i was cleaning the mating surfaces on the heads , and i moved the brake booster line and i noticec that the valve stem on the black cylinder valve looking thing was broken , could this create a vaccum leak big eneough to throw off my map sensor ? whats the name of the part ?

sorry for posting pics like this , i dont know how to attach images

Yep. Broken or cracked vacuum port = vacuum leak.
It's the check valve for the brake booster.
