This is prolly not the right section to post this but i cant find any good info around.

I got a 92 firebird with a 305 tbi and im wanting to swap a tpi system to it. What would be the exact parts i would need.

I know i need :
T.Body
Up and Lower Manifold .
Runners.
8 Injectors.
Fuel Rails.
ECM and wiring harness.
Fuel Pump(easy)
Do i need tpi fuel lines ? Since tpi runs at higher psi i dont know.

Since im keeping the same 305 i dont think i would need any sensors or would i ?

Please tell me anything im missing.

Also wat would be the fastest way of doing this, would it be better to first drop in all the intake manifold injectors, fuel pump and all those parts first and then get down to take the old wires out and put tpi harness in ?

Please help me out here guys, i know that by doing this i wont reach 300 HP but i just want to do it for the hell of it , if anything i wanna do it cuz it just looks better in there , eventually when i can id be droping a 350 in it in the near future so having all the tpi stuff already in would make it a lot easier by then.

No they are the same.

Thats lots of work just for looks, and for the money it will cost:
1) you may find a thirdgen that already has TPI from the factory for little 100$ bills more.
2) since you are aiming for a 350ci TPI, a factory L98 equipped thirdgen would be a lot more convenient.
3) you can upgade your LO3 to L98 power.

Re: TBI to TPI swap question.
For a factory 3rd gen with a 350 tpi that its in good condition that would be around 4k and if one is put up for sale.

I want to do this to the motor i already have, swaping an entire engine is out of my reach, then comes the problem of finding a good running l98 with everything on it, rebuilding an old engine is also out of my reach and i dont have the space do it, all in all with the money ill spend buying a new engine rebuilding it etc i would be better off just saving some money and selling my l03 firebird and buying a 3rd gen with a 350 already in it or just move to a whole new generation and buy a lt1 fbody.

By a lot of work what do u mean? Wiring and stuff ? i dont see how taking an intake manifold out and putting a tpi in, then just take the old wires and computer out and put a new one in is a lot of work, it maybe a pita but not impossible , lots of ppl have done it , i know that going to tpi would bring me a log of gains but imo the system is just better tha tbi imo.
