Re: Intake manifold for TBI

edelbrock is the only one I know that makes an aftermarket manifold for T.B.I. . theirs is pn# EDL-3704 . i can't back up their claims , but they have been manufacturing quality performance parts as long as i can remember . at my age ( damn i'm old , 70 + ) and i have been a gearhead forever . i can remember quality hot rod parts from them . anybody remember flat head engines ??? good luck .

Re: Intake manifold for TBI

Your best bet is to get an intake ment for a carb and put an adapter plate if keeping tbi. There is a topic on here with flow numbers for the edl-3704. It is better than stock but not too much.

Not for me. There are much better intakes out there that will give you better gains.

Re: Intake manifold for TBI

"Building a new 350" does not provide much info to go on. Edelbrock advertises 5500 rpms max range and Holley is rated up to 6000 rpms. Edelbrock stand 5.10 inches tall and Holley more of a high rise at 5.40 inches. Edel port size 1.13 x 1.87 vs Holley 1.15 x 1.89 inch. Best value would be a carb manifold with TBI adapter. Lot of choices there. Why not GM performance Vortec heads with a Professsional Products Vortec manifold? That is the best value for HP vs cost.
