when i floor gas pedal

There is something tht I have just recently realized. When I floor the gas pedal anywhere under 24,00 rpm the car down shifts and hauls fast but, I I floor the gas pedalwhen it is over 24,00 rpm it doesn't seem to move fast. Seems like it just goes doesn't down shift and haul fast like it does when running under 24,00. Is this normal? I have already adjusted the t.v. cable using the adjusting procedure. I am running a cam, intake and headers without burning a new prom chip or upgrading tranny. Any suggestions?

Well one of your problems may be that your running your car at 24,000 rpm. The highest mine goes is like 5,000 rpm. I think anything over 24,000 you might be nearing the end of your peak torque range. Burn a new chip and take that turbine off. 24,000 rpm is to much
