lost firing order

Car: 1989 firebird
Engine: 350 tpi
Transmission: 700r4
lost firing order
i have a bit of a problem when i was replacing plugs i didnt mark number 1 and i lost its location on the distributor the firing order is 18436572 but i dont know how to find number one on distributor. any ideas on how to help me

Do you not have any plug wires on? If not, then you will have to find #1 this way.
Pull #1 spark plug out. Have someone bump the motor untill you feel air being PUSHED out (disable the car somehow so it will not start). When you feel air come out, turn the motor by hand till your timing mark on the balancer lines up with the tab on the timing chain cover. Then pull the cap off and see where the rotor is facing. Mark this somehow and when you put the cap back on, this is going to be your #1 plug. The rest go on in the firing order counterclockwise.

See that line on the top of the dizzy that is centered with the coil post. To the left of that line going clockwise is 21843657.
If using a stock cap there will be two lines, one facing the driver door about (as shown above) and the other 45* to the strut tower. Let me know if you need a small video or something to make it easier.

That could work assuming that every previous owner has put the plug wires back on the same way.
