high idle
I just added a jet FPR and a throttle body with tbi mods done to it.
Before that I had open element, power charger, msd coil, catless exhaust, and edelbrock tbi intake. this is a 1990 k1500 w 350.
it idled perfectly before, now its idling around 1300rpm.
Im at 15psi fuel pressure, I cant get it to adjust down any more than that, but I definitely needed a boost from the 11 I was running before.
Tps at idle is .63v and pulling about 26kpa vacuum.
IAC wont drop below 39. I tried jumping pins A+B and that brought the idle down to 850 or so until I reconnected the IAC. I cant adjust idle screw anymore.
Is my only way out of this going to be getting into tuning?
Any suggestions? If I have to I put the stock FPR and/or throttle body back.

Re: high idle
In a nutshell i would say yes..a new tune is in the works..your sorta in the same situation i'm in..and changes to intake or heads will make everything off in the ECM from what it was originally programmed for..so get the programs and aldl hookup..and see whats going on :-)
in my case i had to advance the timing to around 12* BTDC to get the RPM to come down abit.. just a thought

Re: high idle
I have the cable already (for my camaro) and ive been logging a little. Thats how i got the info in my OP. I think Ill try replacing the TB gasket and if that doesnt work I get the tune.
Unfortunately I just drove from MA to NJ and the trans went on me. I had to rent a uhaul and tow it back, to thatll be 1st priority....
