Swapping My Injectors

hey guys i have a 89 camaro tbi with the stock injectors, the injectors never been changed and i have a feeling one taking a dump, Any how i went to the junk today and found brand new injectors from a 92 buick roadmaster with a 5.7L Tbi so i bought them, So my question is What do i need to make these work? would i need a computer chip or can i just swap them out. thanks

What numbers are on the injectors? There should also be dabs of paint on the electrical terminals. The color of the dabs will also help determine the flowrate. My guess would be that they are 55 PPH.

To use them, you will need to set your base pulsewith constant to match the new injectors.

Re: Swapping My Injectors

One could send to FIC Injectors for rebuild/cleaning or do an exchange with them?

Re: Swapping My Injectors

Forgive my lack of computer knowledge, but isn't it WAY more work to make these injectors work in this motor than it is to get the right injectors?
