I wanna clean it and put a new filter in it, where is it located?... the is like 100 different emissions things on this car and I dont kno what one is the egr valve

also, do I use a spray to clean it out? or just replace the filter?

There is no filter used for the EGR.

Cat converter, air sistem, EGR and cranck case breather, makes 4.

Yea I know.. I just took it off and freed it up... u know how to tell if ur getting vacuum from the egr control? should u be able it feel it to the touch?

If you look into the EGR and see a buildup of carbon you need to change it. Other than that you should be OK.

I took the sucker off.. it wouldent push up...I sprayed the hell outta it with carb/TB cleaner..its loosend it up and I can push it smoothly now feeling the suction..I put it back on but I cant see it sucking up...what im asking is when u pull of that vacuum line that runs to it and place ur finger over it... should u feel it sucking air??

I dont have a vacuum tester...

The Vacuum line you should feel sucking. The EGR you won't feel it because the diaphragm is too small to create enough vacuum, a vacuum might detect it.

I dont feel any sucking from the vacuum line thats suppose to plug into the egr...line is sylicone and looks to be in very good shape

now im thinking egr control solenoid

EGR is commanded by the ECM and activated by the solenoid, mainly during cruising wen in highway mode, light trottle and idle, as soon as you accelerate a little harder it's bypassed.

Also note there is a minimum thempereture, probably around 55° that is set in the calibration (chip) required to enable egr operation.
