hey guys, have a TBI issue
oh, this is weird, i have an 89 firebird formula 5.0 tbi, my fuel pump is priming and the fuels being pumped all the way to the throttle body but wont spray out of the injectors, i thought that maybe it was an injector problems and went to get new injectors with still wont spray, then i went to the local boneyard (budget wrench and pull) to get a new throttle body setup and still nothing, what could this be guys? any help is much appreciated and thanks in advance

Re: hey guys, have a TBI issue
I assume the injector fuse circuit has been checked for power & the fuse is good.
Check for power pulses @ injector connectors, that part of the harness that passes through the TB notch w/rubber grommet is known for failure both open & short.
The next problematic area of wiring is that to the ignition module (in the distributor) as it (the module) serves double duty firing both the ignition and injectors, however the module itself is the usual suspect, given that they seem to die so often some ppl have taken to keeping a spare.
So the module is the most likely failure, I just want you to check the wiring before taking the module out & having it tested.

and if it is the module in the distributor, what do i need to fix it?
