ok so i was looking in to geting vortec heads for my lo3 and i was looking at a carb intake that fits the vortec heads and i was wondering if it would work ?(would the motor pass inspection, run right)i know the tb wont bolt to the carb intake i was going to get a carb to tb plat to bolt on to the manifold. just wondering if it will work?

I know in california it would not pass emissions testing. I do not know new york law. Check with your local inspection facility and ask them. If they do not know they will probably know someone who does.

 

Fast 355 posted up an Edelbrock Vortec Carb "2 barrel" intake a few times. seems like a good choice. I wonder if a 7.4L GM TBI would allow the TB blades to clear however?

 

will thr car run right without the egr? will it pass inspection without it ?
