What did i break?
Hello everyone. I am in the process of putting headers on my 91 rs 305 auto. While taking off the passanger side manifold i broke off a sensor in the head. I cant think what this is. Can anyone tell me what this is? Thank you.

Re: What did i break?
91 Rs passenger side in the block would be the knock sensor. Temperature sensor for gauge is in the head on the drivers side between #1 and #3.

Re: What did i break?
As mentioned it is the fan switch. You will notice if you start your car cold the fan will automatically come and on not shut off. That is the fail safe mode when the sensor is damaged. It is safe to drive but you want to replace it. 99% of people break this when installing headers.
