high pressure fuel pump help please

high pressure fuel pump help please

whats up im building a a tpi setup for my 92 rs now i strip a 88 roc and i took the rear end and i want to swap it into my rs now with my tip i need a high pressure fuel pump cause im put bigger injectors and turbo ect... and once i put the rear end in i don't wanna take it back out to put a new fuel pump in right now i have 305 with tbi so can i put the fuel pump in and jus drop it in until my new motors done

just put in the high pressure pump for the tpi and use an aftermarket regulator

Yup basically. Put in a TPI pump and run a different regulator as stated above. especially if you plan future mods.

Turbo? make sure you get something that's capable of delivering more fuel then a standard TPI fuel pump.

Something like a turbo trans am or s10 typhoon fuel pump, check what the experts in the power adder forum suggest.

i dont think you understand im want to put a walbro in tank pump and this weekend im puting a new rear end and i want to know scie the rear end is gunna be out can i put the high pressure pump in now so i dont have do it later when i put the new tpi motor in will the my stock 305 tbi run with high pressure pump

If it's a walbro 190 then there is no problem, worst scenario you will need a AFPR (adjustable fuel pressure regulator), could modify the stock one

The 255 walbro could be too much for the small return hole of the stock FPR system, In that case an external aftermarked AFPR should do the trick.

so what is the worst case if i put in the 255 cause that what i really want because all the mods my tpi is gunna have i jus need the my 305 until i have my new motor done

The 255 will work fine to put in now. It is not ideal but it will be ok. Many many people have done this, including myself.
