Question about no start
Alright so me and my dad rebuilt the FBI unit.we reinstalled it and got the car running. Reset the timing and it ran like brand new! Restarted the car 3 times with no problems.so the next day I go to start it and it just cranks and cranks.
Checked the car and it's got spark. But there's no fuel comming out Of the injectors. We checked both the return fuel line and the line in,they're not clogged.so my question is, could it be the pickup coil? Would that be cause the injectors to not drip the fuel? Anybody have any other ideas? Thanks

not sure what u have for tools but with fuel pressure guage i use, you can unhook the fuel line from the fiilter and tap into the line there. It can be a pain to check but sometimes its best to start with simple things...... let me know what ya find out

Re: Question about no start
Checked pressure at t.b. it was 0. Then checked for power at pump connection and I do have power so must be a bad pump or since its only a few months old might be installed wrong? Now my question is on the sending unit it says its a "fpg" harness. I'd like to change the sending unit because the fuel gauge doesnt work but no one seems to have a fpg unit for that car. They have other sending units listed but not fpg? So will a different unit work?

To test fuel pressure http://www.actron.com/product_detail.php?pid=16175
At key on engine off the fuel pump primes for around 2 seconds only.
Did you try here https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/member.php?u=95096 ?
If that does not work rockauto.com sells 3 brands of sendig units. https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/afte...unt-codes.html
