high the low idle no codes Help??

high the low idle no codes Help??

so it idles at about 14-1500 then put in gear it drops to about 400 stays like that when back in park crack the throttle goes back to 1400 has sputter and hesitation . just put in new ecm that was the only code also had new iac,tps, distributor, can't find any vac leaks going to check again tomorrow and probably just replace all vaum lines also going to check and reset timing and put in new E3 plugs and wires but does anyone have any other ideas
this car has been sitting 2 years and trying to get in running before buying from my brother it is all stock and we have had it since new so i know the history any help is greatly appreciated

dont waste your money on E3's. Run Ac Delco R44TS or R45TS or R43TS

i usually always use delco's but i have these e3's laying around and they are right for the car i have no idea where they came from so it costing me $0 so i figured i'll try em

I have seen aftermarket SUPER spark plugs cause problems on many ocasions. You would be better off to use the stock plugs in there for now. After you fix the problem try them out! Then as they age if a problem arises look at replacing the plugs.

If you can't find a vacuum leak I would look at the throttle shaft bushings or linkage. What you are describing could be linkage related. Disconect it or at least pill it bacl to idle and see that you have some slack at the end and it's not binding or holding the throttle shaft open a little. HTH!

I don't have as much experience with thirdgens as I do with fourthgens. When I installed a new TPS in my 95 Formula I had problems with the idle being too high (1100 to 1500 RPM) until I calibrated the TPS. Maybe calibrating your TPS will solve your high idle problem. Hope this helps.
