Injector pod problems

I just added the injector spacer mod under my injector pod and I have badly cross threaded one of the threads in the pod that the nuts go in. I havent had a chance to try a thread chaser to rethread them but its in pretty bad shape. My question is if I have to get a new pod, will the pod off from any 3rd gen TBI engine work for my 92 TBI?

Re: Injector pod problems

ok so did you strip the theads where the fuel line's screw in? or where those fuel fittings screw into the pod? if its the latter, it'd be easiest to go to the junkyard and get another one...you could try rethreading it...

Re: Injector pod problems

where the fittings screw into the pod. Any idea how much one of those would cost at a junk yard? I seen a few on ebay for around 40$

Re: Injector pod problems

ok I figured I would have to get another one. Ok one last quick question, when I swap my injectors into a new pod should I go ahead and get new O-rings to go with it?
