So 88 Firebird formula 305 tbi. 2055 hookers,open element intake, and doing msd ignition box and wires.

What's the down time like to install and get the ebl running properly? Going to be using this ebl on this 305 and then a 350 ho. Will it be plug and play for a 350 ho as well?

 

I have heard you plug the ecm in. Load the L03 Bin file into it and your ready to roll. I dont know if they offer 350 L05 stock tune BIN's too or what. I am sure RBOB will see this thread and let ya know what's up.

Other then what UnderCover outlined need to disconnect the AIR solenoids. Or pop the pins (terminals) out of C1 & C2 at the ECM harness connectors.

If you have advanced the distributor base timing then also set it to the same value in the calibration. Then flash it in. Always helps to follow up with some VE Learns and checking the tune in general.

There are 30-some base calibrations included with the EBL Flash system. Included are L05 calibrations for both trucks and cars (8 total).
