1991 305 throttle body cfm

I saw that the injectors are 55 lb/hr on my 91 Firebird. I can't find any cfm numbers though, anybody know the throttle body cfm?

I wanna say its 440 cfm if im not mistaken. You dont need to upgrade it. trust me. you can do the ultimte tbi mods to it and you'll be good for awhile.

440 to 480 cfm's. you know while searching for this on google i found something interesting. they say that if both sides of the intake can get air from both sides of the tbi it will run better. theink i need to pull and modify my intake.

Yeah someone makes a spacer that helps that. well you think about it. if you have two throttle blades feeding air and fuel to all cylinders instead of 1 just feeding 4. you'd get more air in there and fuel for more power.

i seen the spacer to. i think i am going to pull my intake this weekend and make a notch in it to allow this. and i have 2 or 3 gaskets that came with kits that have the middle out of them.

Re: 1991 305 throttle body cfm

I remember thier being a thread about this previously. If I recall someone said something about the throttle body already being able to pull air from both sides. I may be mistaken. I dont think it'll hurt performance so you might as well do it.

i think i remember there being small holes down lower. if not once the air passes the top of the tbi to the butterfly then now it cant in my mind. but if there is that much to be gained ill try it. but mine runs very well at 22mpg and all. but the ever so slight coolant trail is bugging me. heck i dont think it will hurt anything.
