305 tbi and 350tbi wireharness?
I'm buying a 90rs that is said to have had a 350 tbi truck motor put in it.The motor has basicly died.I'm wondering if there is much of a chance that I could just put a 305 tbi back in without wire harness trouble and computer trouble.

you'd need to do a reverse swap. so you'll need a 305 TBI computers, knock sensor, spark control module. wire harness should be the same. You shouldnt have too hard of a time finding a replacement engine. I see TBI engines all day on craigslist here in California.

The 350tbi is easyer to find here in tn.But there are 305's.I've found 1 305tpi compleat but no harness or ecm. There is a harness and ecm on third gen for sale forum. But that would still leave alot of little stuff like vacum stuff and so on.The 350 find would be easyer if I can get one.Main thing for me right now is the wireing harness.I can run down an ecm.

Find a TBI TRUCK 350 and swap it in place of the current engine. You will kick yourself for stepping back to the 305.
