hi everyone my 305tbi is a pain in my A##. when i start my car it will idle high then die out. i have to keep my foot on the gas to keep it from dying. after about 5 minutes or so i can take my foot off the gas but the car will try dying out and then catch it self. when im driving i get sudden loss of power and no response when i give it more gas,sometimes it dies out, and sometimes it drives fine when its hot. i did a tuneup(plugs,wires,dist,rotor,) changed fuel filter, air filter, and ran seafoam through the fuel system. i tired puling a code but nothing came up. can someone please point me in the right direction or tell me what might be the problem?

Bad coolant temperature sensor is very likely.
