Hey everybody
Im going to start by saying I dont drive a camaro but a 92 chevy caprice which im pretty sure has the same 305 and trans in it as the camaro but im putting a new motor in it that I built but its an early 305 and my intake bolts dont line up so ive been reading about the adapters for the carbed intake but im not sure which one to buy and did you have to re rout any vacume or water line, any help would be awsome

the intake to cylinder head bolts dont line up? the centerbolt heads have different angled center intake bolts. you have to either buy a correct manifold, or oblong the center holes to make it work. you can buy a 4 barrel carb to tbi adapter at a few places. thier is one for sale in the for sale section of this site.

Do you know if those adapters work well or not, im getting a holley carb intake and I just dont want to waste my time with it if it wont work.

They do not make an adapter that I know of to convert a centerbolt manifold into a standard manifold. you can oblong the holes for that. The adapter im talking about is for the TBI unit to go onto the top of a carb manifold. they work. Never used one but its a pretty simple setup.
