TBI Car runs, shows no fuel pressure

OK. My car runs fine (91 RS TBI) other than at idle the car idle changes at stop lights. Works fine on the highway and under way around town. I put a fuel pressure gauge on the car today and the fuel pressure gauge shows zip. I know the Actron gauge works because we used it on the Durango and it worked fine. Does anyone have a clue why this would happen?

I think it is a regular in line gauge that you put on your fuel lines correct? it is not a permanent gauge? but if it is a permanent gauge. its reading wrong.

It's an Actron fuel pressure gauge borrowed from Auto Zone. And yes, it was on the correct side (that's idiot proof...they're different sizes).

The gauge connector has to push open the schraider valve on the test port to read. Check that area or remove the schraider valve & retest.
