Distributor cap and rotor?

Thought it was kinda odd that ive had to replace both the Distributor Cap and Rotor in the last 6 months 2 times! Its a 1990 Camaro Rs 305tbi. Any thoughts on what could be causing?

what kind of cap and rotor? have you changed the wires also?

If you have play in the distributor shaft from excessive wear it can cause real uneven wear if that's what you're getting. What is wrong with the old ones making you need to replace them?
