EBL Tuning TBI ?
Ok guys, I have been reading the web page for the EBL and it says if possible to install the EBL on your stock engine and set it up to get used to the program before you modify or swap engines..
Now I am not to computer friendly but looking at all the info it looks fairly easy to do but what I am not really sure of is "what" should the settings be for a certain issue. Oh and I tune it to run any better with it being stock???
Thanks!!!

Re: EBL Tuning TBI ?
With some VE learns and little SA table modifications, it will run a little stronger and be a little more efficient.

it does free up a "few ponies" i installed it b4 doing a 350 swap car sounded louder (stock muffler) and ran better. if ur not computer savvy are u good at soldering and desoldering which is required for the install.

Re: EBL Tuning TBI ?
well he doesnt have to know how to solder because he can buy a ready to run ECM. For a stock setup I think it'd be fairly easy. and the basic setup is not hard as it seems. I am now finally getting into custom tuning and that is a lil more hectik.

Re: EBL Tuning TBI ?
There is no actual programming involved. You would only be changing parameters of the bin file in the bin editor of your choosing. I use Tuner Pro RT for that.
As an EBL user I will say that the documentation that comes with the EBL describes what each parameter does fairly well. Anything that I couldn't find in the documentation (which wasn't much) I was able to find by searching this board.

Re: EBL Tuning TBI ?
Worked great for my stock 305 with bolt on mods. I've just finished with a 383 swap and still use the TBI atop a Vortec intake and heads. I stuck with the bin I was using for the 305 and dropped in the VE and SA tables for the Vortec application. I also used the utility application included with EBL to calculate the new BPC vs VAC for my new injector size and fuel pressure. Car runs great even though it still needs some further tuning.
