Crank trigger to conrol fuel only
Has anyone ever heard of guys using a crank trigger to control the fuel signals on tbi engines? This is normally handled by the est distibutor, I wonder if you can then use a vacuum advance distributor swap springs & weights. The timing advance is very conservative on the engines.
I've heard of guys doing this, but haven't seen what they used to make it happen.

Seems like a lot of trouble to avoid burning a chip with whatever timing curve you want.
