Hello everyone,just wanted to take a minute to thank everybody on tgo.you guys are awesome.anyway i have been researching through here and abroad to seek an avenue to resolve my vats issue.well to make a long story short incase anyone wants to know.i went to a salvage yard and pulled an ecm from am 88 iroc,switched it out with my ecm in my 89 camaro rs and presto!!!no more 4 minute delay to start the 89 camaro rs.i can actually just get in and leave.wow thats amazing.the 88 iroc ecm service no. is 1228063 which is no vats eprom.and further more in case anyone wants to know.ecm service no.1227730,727 and 165 are vats enabled.1228063 and all others than the three listed above are no vats eprom right off the factory.the type of fuel inj. that the 88 out of the jy and my 89 rs are both tbi.just thought this would be handy info for anyone wanting to know and thanks again to all.
