Had to change out the tbi and now when it idles, it misses every now and then. Almost sounds like a high, very high idle then a little "miss" that usually precedes a backfire- I am going to check vac lines any other ideas? Do I need to do the timing again?

 

first this needs to be in the tbi section. why did you change the tbi out. sounds like you have a vacuum leak.

 

One92rs, really sorry, didn't know there was a special tbi section, tbi had to be changed out bcse we overtightened where the fuel line comes in and it broke and that's what I thought abt the vac leak - I will chk them
