im new to tgo and tomorrow im going to look at my third gen, im gonna be picking it up for 800$ it has a 305 tbi and an lt1 cam with open shorty headers. the car runs but does not have an alternator or a battery. so a battery would need to be connected for the purpose of running the car for a short period of time. it also has an eaton posi rear with 4.10 gears. the belt system has been converted over to a vbelt system. aside from the interior the car its self is in great condition. paint isnt too bad all the glass is fine nothings cracked. i just thought id let everyone know theres a new third gen owner on board.

any tips for what to look for tomorrow when i go to check out my new ride? ill post pics on here as soon as i get back and give you all some more details. im so excited to go see it.

if so, what was the sale price and plz post a pic or 2.

Do you need it for daily driving? If so, have you had estimates to get it ready for street driving?

 

yes i did buy it, i got it for 800 i will try to get some pics up tomorrow. i do need it for daily driving. im still pricing things. best part is i work at advance auto so i can get a lot of things through them with my team member account, but im look at like 500 between battery alternator and suspension all around. i also need a y pipe for the headers and an exhaust system
