Hello,

I have The EGR Solenoid broken (1988 Firebird 305TBI). the two small "pipes" broken down.
Is it also the possible reason why the car wont start? Or is that another thing to look into?

Re: EGR solenoid broken and car not starting
The egr should not affect the starting, unless the valve is opening right after it starts, which it'll stall. Disconnect the vacuum hose that feeds the solenoid, plug it off at the throttle body. Then try it.
If it still doesn't start, check for injector spray & spark to the plugs.

As you can see the two pipes are in the "pipe-shoe-hose" (or however I need to call it)
