the one you first pull on with the slot is the cruise control cable. it goes on the outside pin on the lever right on the other side where you have it.
the next one with just a hole in it not hooked up goes where you have the slotted one right now.
and on the bottom pin is where the transmission ( tv ) cable goes. i dont see that one there.

Re: Throttle linkige
yes sir or the transmission will burn up.
that ground wire goes on the back of the head closest.
the one line you said that you dont know where the heck it goes goes to the vacuum port A on the tb. second one over from the throttle linkage.
and the big port on the tb that you want to cap off is for the pcv valve. make sure you hook that up to a pcv valve in the valve cover.
and the big hole on the back of the valve cover is where that big hose you dont know what the heck is goes from there to the air cleaner when it is hooked up.

wheres does the graound wire go again? dang.. is there anyone near SD that could help me? i tried to start it... the tranny is in neutral so i wont worry about the tv cable... and i wont run it but first of all i want to make the engine run... im guessing the smog hoses and ground wiering needs to be completed... i just dont have the skills to finish it.. and money is tight these days

if you want to try to get it started cap off al vacuum ports on the tb on the front. and seeing a fire in the tb i would have to say the timing is way off.
Re: Throttle linkige
get a vacuum cap from the local autoparts. cheap. pull number 1 spark plug and bring it up on top dead center. turn the engine over with a socket and ratchet with your finger over the spark plug hole. when you feel compression start go slow. i stick a long screw driver in the hole and turn the engine over slowly while pulling the screwdriver out of the hole while the piston is coming up. when the screwdriver quits moving that is darn close to tdc. now pull the cap and restab the distributor with the rotor pointing to number one. that should be able to get it running.
i suppose the first thing to do is check the plug wires. 18436572 is the firing order.

As you can see i finally turne it on! Thanks to one92rs! Also the muffle was not conected to thats why it sounded horribly.. Also i need to fine tune the timing but i can do that later.. Also the car would turn off if i let go of the pedal.. All i neaded was to hold it slightly but i think thats because i havent adjusted the acceleration... So now that thats done... I need to bleed the brake system and the clutch system... And i need to install the slave cilinder... How do i go on that?

Re: Throttle linkige
yes you need to get the timing lined out. i didnt know it was a standard so you do not have a tv cable. do a search in drivetrain for the slave cylinder.
