soo the car is a 88 firebird formula with a 305 tbi on it and the problem im having is that there appears to be fuel or something being sprayed up from the throttle body covering the injectors and the air filter cover, has any one ever had this problem or have any ideas what it might be?

if you have an Oreilly auto parts near you ask for a BWD-10902 kit and rebuild the tbi.

 

thanks, any tips for rebuilding a tbi? anything i gotta watch out for? or is it pretty straight forward?

 

do not overtighten the little screws.
