So I've been having issues with code 22 coming on intermittently so I had a master tech at my shop look at it and he immediately noticed that the wires were crossed, color-wise, so I spliced them back color for color and reset the codes and now I'm getting code 21....could it just need an adjustment???? I wasn't able to mess with it too much as we were leaving work

i think you should have tried to adjust it first. you went from low to high voltage which tells me that the wires switched went from one spectrum to the other. mine only has three wires. ground, high, low.

 

Mine has 3 too a tan black and green or blue

The tan and black wires were the ones that were crossed

Well I got it all back together again and set the voltage dead on and it still throws the code 22 intermittently and starts acting up
