possible injector problem

ok so my 91, TBI 305 has been running rough and dieing at idle so when i took off the air filter and started it up i noticed one of the injectors was not spraying with a consistent pulse. it has a nive v shape when it does spray but it cuts in and out. so i swapped the sides the connectors are on and the same side still does the same inconsistant spray. i ohm checked the injectors the inconsistant one reads at 1.0 and the other at 1.3 ohms. could this be a bad injector or something i havent checked. any info will help thank you!

Re: possible injector problem

If you can switch wire harnesses but the problem stays with the same injector--I don't know how the injector could NOT be defective.

MAYBE it's nothing more than sticky from fuel varnish. You could try a bottle of Techron fuel additive--but realistically, I suspect the injector is toast.

Re: possible injector problem

consider looking at first injector connection FIC they may have a exchange program on rebuilt/cleaned
