Which timing set with LT4 Hot Cam
Like the title says, which timing set do I need to use with the LT4 Hot Cam. The one I ordered from Summit doesn't fit (P/N ZKT3499S). Can I use an LT1/LT4 timing set or will the extra gear for the water pump interfere?
BTW this is going in a SBC 350 with TBI.

I would recomeend a factory single roller timing set for a ~1998 350 G3500. Same chain & sprokets that are used in the ZZ3/4. crate engines.

Be sure to shorten the pin on the front of the cam so that it doesn't rub on the timing cover.

Thanks Fast, I've got the right one now.
Rbob, I did that already. Did you have any issues with the end mushrooming on you?

The end on mine mushroomed slightly. I just took a file and carefully cleaned it up.

Re: Which timing set with LT4 Hot Cam
yeah that's what I ended up having to do. I was a little upset about it when I first noticed considering I used an aluminum mallet to push the pin in specifically so it wouldn't mushroom.
