TBI Question
I have had my 92 RS TBI for almost a week now and I now wonder something about the TBI. This is my 1st Camaro and I was wondering what mileage I should get with it. It is my daily driver/project car (needs some TLC) but when I looked at the throttle body, the gas was dripping in at idle and I always smell gas when I am driving. Is there a problem? And if so, what might it be? I have never seen a throttle body or a cars with fuel trickling into it and it seems like there is an issue, but since I am new to F-bodies, I have no idea where to start with that issue (or the other issues). Thanks!!
Re: TBI Question
is the gas dripping like a water drop or is your idea of dripping different. it should look like a shower under the injector. a fine spray. the injectors either need to be replaced or cleaned.

Re: TBI Question
rebuild the throttle body. its easy and cheap. i did it without any prior experience. then check you fuel pressure under the car with a schrader valve connected to the delivery side of the fuel line to the filter. ( change filter already while your down there. ) should be between 9-13psi. do this just to make sure you got enough fuel . these cars are notorious for bad fuel pressure.
