fuel pressure with vfpr acting funny
I installed the VFPR on my camaro and as you open the throttle the fuel pressure goes up like it should but after a second of holding the throttle open the pressure drops back to its idle pressure. normal? vaccum leak? If i keep opening the throttle slowly the pressure goes up but once I stop it goes back down. I could have sworn it was supposed to go up relative to throttle position.

No, the fuel pressure follows the intake manifold pressure. As the RPM goes up without a load, the manifold pressure drops like a rock.

Oh gotcha. I cant see the guage while im driving. Thought there was something wrong.
Another question for ya rbob. The ebl utility that calculates the bpc values. What fuel pressure do i enter when using vpfr. The idle pressure or open throttle pressure?
