slow start cold hot or warm
92 rs l03 v8 305 new battery new high torque mini starter.
so i have a new 700 cca battery a new high torque mini starter and yet getting really slow cranks when cold, warm, or hot! why? i have a large wire going to starter but still stranded every time i turn it off.

Make sure the battery connections are clean & tight.
Make sure the starter mounting surface is clean.
Make sure the big ground wire is tight on the block. If in question, take a jumper cable & hook it to the neg. side of the battery & the starter body. Then crank it.
