I have the 1982 Pontiac Trans am service manual and at the page (6E2-77) you can see how you can adjust the TPS.
The only thing that I can not understand is Line #2 "Remove the EGR valve and heat shield"
What and where is the heat shield and what has to do with the TPS?

1982 Pontiac Trans am, Crossfire, WS7

There is no heat shield on the EGR and you do not have to do anything to the EGR to adjust the TPS to 0.52 +/-0.025V

I was the guy who started the crossfire injection vault along with Ken many many years ago, I have tinkered a little bit with the CFI. No worries!
