EBL timing drops on part throttle
Ive been having an issue lately when I give the motor half throttle the motor bogs down to the point of slowing down and sometimes backfires. I noticed on the EBL display that the timing drops to the single digits when this is happening. All other sensor reading look normal. Any idea what could be causing this?
Running the 5.0 LO3 SA table and the VE table is pretty good.

Re: EBL timing drops on part throttle
081 are not swirl port, correct? IIRC, they are a stock TPI head, which require more spark advance. Use the Main & Extended SA tables from the EBL_F_3004 calibration (copy them over via Tuner Pro).
The lowering of the SA as you get into the throttle is correct. Just need to start with more timing due to the heads. The cam can also change the required spark advance.
Note that you will likely need to do some additional VE learns as the engines VE will change with the change in SA.
