fuel line/fuel pump help

fuel line/fuel pump help
Before anything.. if ur going to b**ch about what I've done to my car then don't bither commenting.. I've seen way to many people getting "butthurt" over this subject..
Due to time. Weather (noth west indiana) and money situations I've had to cut an access hole to my fuel tank to change my pump... blah blah blah I had to cut my lines then reattach them... now somewhere along the line my stupid a*s mixed the lines up... now there is four total two bigger ones and two smaller ones.. the two bigger ones aren't mixed up but the two smaller ones I may have possibly mixed them by that I mean take one of them and connecting it to the end attached to the fuel tank door but possibly mixing it.. hopefully u understand what I meant lol..
my question is will this cause any problems if I infact mixed them up .. I'm afraid to turn my car over now lol

if i remember right the two small ones are just vents, one runs to the charcoal canister and the other leads to the fuel fill tube, shouldnt matter where they go they both do the same job, and i know the feeling, ive got two third gens, both have custom access holes lol
Yea it seems like thirdgens eat fuel pumps lol this is my second one in a year (did get a cheapo time first time so bought the oem one this time) the first one I did right but this time around with the like 15 inches of snow and all with no garage I just said screw it I'm cutting a hole lol
Thanks for the reply. I was worried I'd end up flooding my engine or something

I don't believe that this is entirely correct. Looking at the lines on the top of the tank while standing at the rear of the car:
The far left line is the mushroom vent (large line).
The far right line is the pressure feed to the engine (large line).
The two center small lines are the CCP and EFI return.
The rear center line is the CCP
The front center line is the return.
Swap those two and the charcoal canister floods...

Alright so how will I know if I'm flooding the charcol canister. . And how bad would that be? Lol. I don't have a garage or anything and there's no way I'm climbing under there in this weather aha..

Could I simply unhook the line up by the canister and turn over the car.. tyen if gas comes ou then I have it hooked up wrong?

The canister will fill with fuel once the fuel in the tank heats up and pressurizes the tank. That will force fuel up the return line and into the canister.
One sign that the lines are reversed is if the fuel pressure is too high. This is because of the small restriction in the CCP vent line at the tank.
You can do some testing with compressed air, may need another person to listen at the gas tank filler neck.
The return line goes to the bottom of the tank. The CCP vent line goes to the top of the tank. Remove the gas cap and apply compressed air to the line that goes to the canister.
This is the line that runs between the gas tank and the canister.
The sound of hissing air should be heard at the filler neck. If air bubbling through fuel is heard then the lines are reversed.
Can also apply air to the return line under the hood going to the tank. That should cause the air to bubble through the fuel.

So if I unhooked the line by the canister I'd have to wait for the tank to pressurize before fuel would come thru it in order for me to tell if its hooked up incorrectly? Approximately how long would it take for the tank to pressurize? I don't have a garage or a compressor atm so it'd be easy if I could check it this way..

Being as cold as it is where you are, it may take quite a while to build up heat in the tank. If it does at all.

Ended up pulling the lins by the tank and cranking the engine... I had them on wrong lol. Hooked iy up roght engine ran strong.. sadly i have to go to work so tonight ill drive it around the block and make sure its running alright. .. thanks for the help!!
