TBI "Tri-Power"

I'm just sitting around watching some TV, browsing some 'Car ****' on the internet and I came across some beautiful pictures of some old tri-power corvettes and I had this crazy idea. You can buy an adapter to bolt a TBI onto a two barrel manifold... What if you buy 3 adapters and 3 TBI units and make a modernized version of a Tri-Power setup.

I'm not saying this would be practical. It probably wouldn't be easy, it probably wouldn't be cheap, but think about how awesome it would be. I bet its something no-one has ever done, it would defiantly be different and it would look awesome when you pop the hood and everyone's scratching their heads trying to figure out whats going on. Is it a Tri-Power car? Is it an EFI car? Is it both? WHAT?!

So discuss, debate, flame on, whatever. I'm just spit balling here.

Search Simpson 36(?) he did a dual TBI on a high rise manifold I recall...His machining work is very special....No reason a triple could not be done except for the ECU drivers issue... 4 injectors can be done with EBL.

Yeah, I imagine an aftermarket ECU may be needed, like Mega-squirt or something. And it would probably be overkill. If one smallblock TBI can support close to 300 HP, 3 should be able to support close to 900 HP, lol.

Two TBIs on a dual quad manifold would be cool too, and probably much simpler.
