Best Recommended Adjustable FPR for TBI & also a FP Gauge(and mount location)
Hey all starting to get into my TBI tuning thanks again to ebl flash and rbob!! Im just wondering what the consensus says here on TGO about which adjustable FPR to use with TBI? Also what Fuel pressure gauge would you recommend and where to mount it? I was thinking of going to AN fittings with steel braided fuel lines but not sure how much thats gonna set me back. Cant find much on what adjustable FPR's everyones using.
Any information or advice is greatly appreciated!!
Thanks!!

For whatever it's worth, I pulled the stock fuel pressure regulator apart, grabbed the spring in both hands...and stretched it about half-an-inch.
I put it back together; got about 11.5 psi out of it, and haven't touched it since. If I wanted more, I'd just go to a hardware store and buy a slightly stiffer spring.
No need for adjustable when you can get what you want by tweaking or replacing the spring in the original regulator.

I have been using this stock mount VRFPR https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tbi/...rfpr-pics.html for many years.
To set fuel pressure and observe, I use the "Actron 7817 kit" with the T on the feed line next to the alternator https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/atta...i-dsc08259.jpg https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tbi/...sure-test.html
