91rs 5.0 of fuel regulator vacuum hose, HELP ME WHERE DOES IT go? On the intake the vacuum tree has only 1 plug should it be more ?and how many if so ? It was running I backed into garage to replace the steering, all tie rods and new seal in steering box .also took belt off to put new clutch and coil on A/C compresser ,did not have pully I needed so put the A/C off .put belt back on and lowed car and found that vacuum hose under car .Car will not start with hose off its is all stock ,but the air pump is off .

Fuel Regulator Vacuum hose? No 'stock' TBI in a F-Body came with a VFPR (Vacuum Fuel Pressure Regulator) which is what you are describing. Are you sure it came off the FPR?

No .but when I looked it up that is what came back .that was the hose. All I know is that now it will not start I have gas I have spark. Like I said it was running .I agree with you.it comes with a built in FPR. I thank it should run . I have to be missing something. Thank you for your reply .

Sorry i could not come up with a better response, hopefully someone with a little bit more knowledge will chime in. That kind of looks like the Heater Valve Diverter sensor/plug, but that wouldnt halt the engine from starting. If that is the case, that it came with a VFPR, there should be a location on the intake manifold, please provide pics of your throttle body ( behind the the throttle body by the Coil) with the air cleaner off, and engine bay pics, so i can 'try' to determine what you have lol

Thanks

Re: fuel regulator vacuum hose

it would not make sense for tbi to have a vacuum referenced fuel pressure regulator, for the simple fact that the injectors are in near atmospheric pressure (above the plates)

vacuum referenced pressure regulators are to compensate for the fact that in a port injection system, fuel injectors require less pressure to deliver the same amount of fuel under vacuum.

that hose on the ground? might have been replaced at some point and was laying around your engine bay? man i have wrenches..vac lines..rad hoses.. all sorts of fun stuff fall out of engine bays.

maybe a sensor got disconnected (or you left one disconnected?)
