Quick EBL Flash/sensor questions

Hey all,

In the midst of removing wiring/clutter in my engine bay, and have some more questions, as I'm getting ready to finally remove my 305.

There will be an L31 going into my car. I will be running TBI on it, and was planning to go the EBL Flash route for tuning. Just curious on if I will still need to swap out certain sensors, like the ESC module, and the knock sensor for the 350 versions? (I'm aware that it's a must, or at least strongly recommended for a basic 305 to 350 TBI swap) And if so, is swapping them just a "plug and play" procedure with the same wiring harness/ECM? Or is there more to it? Thanks in advance!

Re: Quick EBL Flash/sensor questions

You can swap the knock sensor for a 350 one. The filter can also be changed but since that is much easier can do it at any time down the road. Same harness and connectors for either.

A decent app for these would be a '89 Caprice with the 5.7l L05 engine.
