Lost a rubber thingie

Hi everybody,

Today I disassembled my TBI to give it a clean up and pot some new gaskets in etc.
After I got the TBI out of the car, I noticed that I was missing a rubber thing. Its located between the injectors and the bracket with the electrical connectors.

Does anyone know how this piece is called and if I can order it somewhere?
I have no idea where to start searching right now.

Cheers,

Tias

Don't know the correct nomenclature for that item but the easiest and cheapest place to get it will be your local junkyard. The pick n pull here let me get 2sets (4) for $1

Well the shittiest part is, here in The Netherlands, we do not have a lot of junkyards and its a miracle if you can find something like that on the junkyard.

So thats not really a solution for me =[

Re: Lost a rubber thingie

Check the injector connector, it may still be inside of it. The only place to get one new would be with an injector connector pigtail.

Note that they were used on many, many, TBI vehicles: cars, trucks, vans, mini-vans and so on.

RBob.

Thanks RBob.

Now I know what I'm looking for and how it is named.
Lets hope I can find something cheap here in The Netherlands.

Or its gonna cost me at least $60 dollars to get it here.

Re: Lost a rubber thingie

2 rubber cylinders / tubes made of gasoline safe fuel hose would be sufficient to replace one "thingie."

Re: Lost a rubber thingie

Oh no... stupid postal services must have lost it. If you don't have it by next week or so I'll send another one. I even double labeled it (2 envelopes one in the other)

I wouldn't worry about it. I never had them on my Crossfire Injection TBI's.
