I looked and didnt find an intro duction forum so hi im james live in bc i don have a car but i have a tbi truck and have been reading this forum and it has been help full. I bought this truck a couple months ago and previous owner has removed entire egr system but not programed it out i get egr codes every time i hit the highway. I would like a stock chip without egr where can i get one please help i cant get ahold of tbichip.com, i contacted ed wright he wont ship to canada. I have an extra ecm and chip both with the same codes as my truck, so i can supply chip. Im wondering if anyone can help me thanks in advance james

 

Simple. Put the EGR equipment back on.

It's not like you're going to gain power by removing it.

 

Ive found a solnoid to install but they want a number off the old egr valve and there isnt one there. I guess i was just crossing my fingers that i could find another way around it. How do you tell which egr valve you need there are 2 options

 

well in the end i bought all the stuff to burn my own chips and ended up doing lots of adjustments its lots of learning but also lost of fun
