breather filter question

ok...i took the stock tube for the breather and cut it down towards the straight part at the bottom and used a ballpean(sp?) hammer to widen the part just alittle to be able to fit my "clamp" on k&n breather that i relized would never clamp on to that huge tube...so i squeezed it in there and now seems like im getting oil somewhere cause its smoking alittle around the valve cover...probably coming from that....i havent got a chance to look at it in daylight tho....is this going to hurt anything? my oil pressure seems fine...is it to restrictive or anything?

shouldn't be a problem, you might wanna put some permatex around the inside of the connector to sel it up. It''s probably leaking out somewhere, and geting onto the head.
