TBI Fuel Issues

So recently I posted about my car cutting out and such, well since then I replaced the fuel pump and filter and it got noticeably better, but it's still cutting out, if I hold the car at say 2,000rpms it will cut out a bit and drop and sputter to 1500 or 1000, and when I first start it and drive, it does fine for a few minutes sometimes but then it'll sputter and run lean and not get enough fuel, until I put my foot down, then it'll go and not sputter, but if I really get on it, you can feel that it's not getting enough fuel and isn't putting out full power, before it was my battery cable, bad connection, that's been replaced, I don't know where else to look, my injectors are spraying fine, even checked for codes, no codes are popping up, yet it's running like an old beater, any help is appreciated, thanks in advance

Re: TBI Fuel Issues

Im new around here and don't know much, but I wonder if the vent to the fuel tank is plugged. Perhaps try loosening the fuel cap and see if it changes. Might be starving out pulling a vac.

Re: TBI Fuel Issues

Everything you need to know can be read with a REAL scan tool, fuel pressure gauge, and a look at the cap, rotor, plug wires, and spark plugs.

Reading codes is NOT ENOUGH. You need to view the data stream.
