Looks like some nice pieces. And will fit other SBCs if you ever go for more cubes.
Why the FM rebuild kit? Are you re-sealing the engine? Or new bearings, etc.? Looks like a full rebuild, new pistons, etc. Is that all needed?
Maybe consider another kit without pistons, and buy your pistons seperately, and get some that bump your C/R?

Well, I'm usually in your camp...building the 305 because I have it. But if your going for a full rebuild, with it's accompanying machine shop bills, the only difference left in cost between the 305 and 350 is a donor 350. For those comparatively fewer dollars more, I'd make the jump, get the cubes and better breathing (unshrouded valves).

actually im not gonna go with a .30 over bore or a full rebuild with under 50xxx ill just replace the fms and rms call it good enough and ill go with the Trick Flow® Super 23® 175 Cylinder Heads for Small Block Chevrolet TFS-30310006 over my original choice so i don't have to change anything for the lift of the hot cam.

For the TBI spacer plate, I just got one off ebay from a company called Inject it, PN-Inject-001. It's a 1/2" of machined billet aluminum, and use a typical 4 barrel spread bore gasket for the underside of it-it has recommendations for which one to use but I can't remember. It was I think about $70 shipped roughly. I looked at trans-dapt and there's were no where as nice as this one is.
