Fact. Camshafts

Why does everyone insist on using an LT1 Cam over the L98 piece? What are the benifits other than have slightly higher lift? I am planning on running a 91 L98 cam and slightly ported 92 305TPI heads on my 305...essentially making a 305tpi longblock with TBI induction.

So whats up with the two cams?

you can find the lift and duration numbers for the tpi cam in the tech section or FAQ i think. the LT1 cam has a bit more lift and duration so it can create a longer power band and has more air flow so it can produce more top end power.
and for teh $30 or so they cost it is one hell of a good dollar per HP investment
