Sources for 48mm blades?

I didn't find any sources in the search. Anyone know, or know they type of metal and thickness of TB blades so new ones could be made?

16 gauge aluminum?

Ask snuf, he probably knows all the sources from back when he was looking all over for TB blades...

I don't think they would be aluminum. I was thinking stainless steel or zinc plated steel.

They're steel, or stainless steel (some kinda ferrous metal). You can get 48mm blades from a stock TPI throttle body. Thats what I did.

It would be real hard to make them since the have a bevel to them.

The throttle plates aren't perfectly square. Meaning, if you laid them flat on a table, they would have and angle to the edge. I think they do that so the edge does not cause the plate to bind in the bore when the plates are closed.
